Acceptance and scope
These terms apply to your use of the open-source Second Opinion by AmanERP Codex plugin, its packaged skills, local runner, and associated documentation. By installing or using the plugin, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use it.
The plugin is a local developer tool, not a hosted AmanERP service. It requires separately installed third-party tools and accounts.
Open-source license
The plugin source and packaged code are licensed under the Apache License 2.0 in the public repository. That license governs your rights to use, reproduce, modify, and distribute the software. These terms govern use of the AmanERP-published plugin listing, support surfaces, and associated services, and do not reduce rights granted by the Apache License 2.0.
AmanERP names, logos, and other brand assets are not licensed for unrelated endorsement or branding merely because they appear in the open-source package.
Accounts, credentials, and third-party terms
You must install and authenticate Claude Code yourself and comply with Anthropic's applicable terms and policies. GitHub pull-request mode also requires your own GitHub CLI authentication and compliance with GitHub's terms. Codex and plugin installation are subject to OpenAI's applicable terms.
You are responsible for credential security, account permissions, network configuration, usage charges or limits, and authorization to send selected content to those services. AmanERP does not provide, share, broker, or resell those accounts.
Permitted use and safety boundary
You may use the plugin for bounded independent advisory and read-only review where you are authorized to process the selected content. The plugin is designed for explicit invocation, disabled model tools, no session persistence, bounded resources, local validation, and no GitHub or working-tree mutation.
Do not use the plugin to bypass access controls, disclose data without authorization, operate a shared service through personal OAuth, evade safety controls, make unlawful decisions, or present model output as verified fact or final professional judgment.
Advisory output and user responsibility
Model output can be incomplete, incorrect, outdated, or misleading. It is an independent opinion, not authority, approval, legal advice, security certification, or a merge decision. You must reproduce material findings against original evidence and apply appropriate human review, tests, and organizational controls.
The plugin does not edit files, post comments, approve, merge, push, or otherwise act on the advice. Any later action is a separate decision and workflow for which you remain responsible.
Data handling
The plugin sends user-selected content directly from your workstation to Anthropic through your Claude Code authentication. AmanERP receives no plugin prompt, diff, credential, response, or usage telemetry. Local artifacts remain under your control.
You are responsible for minimizing inputs, complying with confidentiality and data-protection duties, and managing artifact retention. Review the plugin-specific privacy notice before use.
No warranty
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the plugin and documentation are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties or conditions of any kind. The Apache License 2.0 warranty disclaimer also applies to the licensed software.
AmanERP does not warrant uninterrupted availability, compatibility with every Codex or Claude Code release, detection of every secret or defect, accuracy of output, or fitness for a particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AmanERP and contributors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, credentials, profits, goodwill, or business opportunity arising from use of or inability to use the plugin. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so those exclusions apply only to the extent permitted.
Changes, discontinuation, and contact
You may stop using and uninstall the plugin at any time. AmanERP may update, suspend, or discontinue its plugin listing or support surfaces. Open-source copies remain governed by the license version supplied with them.
Material changes to these terms will update the date above and the public repository history. Questions may be sent to hello@amanerp.com. Do not include credentials or confidential source material.
